How Rascals, Moony, Huggies and Bobby differ
One brand often sells several lines, and those lines differ in sizes, ingredients and factory. So every cell names the exact line. Figures for Moony, Huggies and Bobby come from the brand sites and Pharmacity on 5 November 2026.

The three Pharmacity prices were sale prices. The list prices that day were ₫479,000 for Moony, ₫371,000 for Huggies and ₫421,000 for Bobby. Sale prices move from week to week, so read the per-diaper row as a snapshot, not a fixed price list.

Which brand leads on what
Biggest sizes. Moony Blue XXXL is made for 18 to 35 kg and Bobby Organic XXXL for 20 to 35 kg. Rascals XXXL starts at 17 kg and the pack gives no upper limit. For a child over 20 kg, Moony and Bobby leave more room on paper.
Price per diaper. In this price check, Bobby Ultra Jumbo L was lowest at ₫5,172 per diaper. Huggies Nature Made followed at ₫6,998 and Moony Natural at ₫9,048. The Rascals price sits in the first column, so you can compare directly.
No added fragrance. Rascals states 0% fragrance. Moony states no added fragrance for both Blue and Natural. Huggies Skin Perfect and Bobby Ultra Jumbo list fragrance among their ingredients. We have not read the ingredients of the other lines from those two brands.
Where size L starts. Moony and Bobby size L starts at 9 kg, Rascals at 10 kg. A 9 kg baby already fits Moony or Bobby L but is still in Rascals M (6 to 11 kg). The other way round, Rascals L pants run to 15 kg, while Moony and Bobby L pants stop at 14 kg.
What Rascals states. A four-layer Hydrolock Core with up to 12 hours of leak protection, depending on how much your baby wees. The diapers are dermatologically tested and PETA Vegan & Cruelty Free certified. These are the brand’s own claims.
One independent test. UK parenting site Mumsnet had one baby wear Rascals Premium in sizes 3 and 4. The diapers did not leak, even overnight. The review marked them down for being slightly bulkier than other diapers and not biodegradable. We found no independent test that compares these four brands with each other.
Rascals or Moony for a baby at night
All four brands claim roughly 12 hours, and each measures in its own way. Nobody here has tested the four side by side on the same baby, so we do not rank them for staying dry longest. What we can say: night leaks usually come from the wrong size or a loose fit.
Between Rascals and Moony, the clearest difference is sizing. A baby of 9 to 10 kg is already in Moony L but still in Rascals M. Weigh your baby and check the Rascals size chart by weight before you switch brands. Between two sizes, Rascals suggests trying the smaller one first.

Which country Rascals, Moony, Huggies and Bobby come from
- Rascals: a New Zealand brand, founded in 2016 as Rascal + Friends by a mother of four. The diapers sold in Vietnam are made in China, as printed on the pack.
- Moony: Pharmacity lists the brand origin as Japan. The Moony Natural L 36 pack is made in Japan.
- Huggies: Pharmacity lists the brand origin as the United States. Nature Made is made in China, Skin Perfect in Vietnam.
- Bobby: bobby.com.vn calls Bobby a children’s diaper brand from Japan, while Pharmacity lists the brand origin as Vietnam. The Ultra Jumbo L pack is made in Vietnam.
Who should pick which
Rascals suits babies whose skin reacts to scented diapers, and parents who want pants with tear-open sides for quick changes. It is the wrong pick if you need a biodegradable diaper or your child has outgrown XXXL.
Moony suits you if you want no added fragrance and a diaper made in Japan, as with the Natural line. It also suits bigger children who need XXXL up to 35 kg.
Huggies suits you if you want a price per diaper in the middle of this group, like Nature Made in our price check. If your baby’s skin reacts to scent, read the ingredients line by line: Skin Perfect tape lists fragrance.
Bobby suits you if price per diaper comes first, or if a child over 20 kg needs Organic XXXL. Bobby also has a separate night line, Organic Sleep Well. Ultra Jumbo L lists fragrance in its ingredients.
